Hawkeye picks up after Endgame, following Kate Bishop as she meets her idol Clint Barton aka Hawkeye. Clint is in New York City with his kids, when Kate crosses his path. Clint takes the instant father/mentor figure as the two try to comb their way out of the mess they are in.
The first episode showed a Hamilton like musical about Steve Rogers and it was hilarious. Broadway star Adam Pascal made an appearance and I loved it. It was a funny little show and Clint's reaction to it was the best.
I am really liking the series because it shows more to Clint character than what we have seen in the past. There is some great comic book references in the series, and I can't wait to see what the show is going to do.
My daughter started this over the weekend. I was reading a book at the time, but the musical was enough to grab my attention. :)
