DC FANDOME

 

DC Fandome was last weekend and it did not disappoint. For those unfamiliar what it is, Fandome is an event online for fans of DC Comics to come get the latest news on favorite shows, comics, movies, and video games. The event started last year for everyone across the world. 

In television news, we many different things happened, but here is a run down of some shows headlined.  Starting off with The Flash, we got a special look into the new season. Flash will be getting his famous gold boots from the comics and will have a 5 episode crossover event. Next up is Young Justice. Young Justice fans were surprised to hear that the season 4 would be released after the panel was over with. Season 4 has been kept under wraps and fans were waiting on the release date. DC's Legends of Tomorrow is celebrating 100 episodes, the event went back and showed 100 seconds of the show. Both Doom Patrol and Titans announced they will be returning for another season. We were able to catch up with some of the stars of Smallville, which turns 20 years old this year. Viewers were able to visit the set of Superman and Lois. We got a sneak peak of what was ahead for this season of Stargirl. Lastly, a goodbye to Supergirl, as her current season will be her last. 

In movie news,  we had some major headliners contending for the spotlight. Black Adam released it's very first look of the movie. Black Adam is set to release in theaters in July 29, 2022. Fans got to see a behind-the-scenes look of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The sequel to Aquaman is slated to release on December 16, 2022. Wonder Woman 3 was announced by director Patty Jenkins and OG Wonder Woman Lynda Carter. Injustice, the animated movie based off the video with the same name, got a special look and sneak peak. Finally, the long anticipated trailer for The Batman was released.
